Here is a link for you. It's pretty self explanatory.

I did one in Houston (northside) one time. We went to shops in The Woodlands, Spring, Humble, north Houston, and Conroe. Took all day, but it was a lot of fun. Each place had a freebee to participants (either a pattern or a small kit or fat quarter). I think we had a punch card that we turned in at the last shop for drawings for prizes.

Do you have to pay to do the online ones?

Our area has shop hop in the fall. It is usually 17 different shops with some sort of theme in mind. That theme carries with it something to look for in each shop. You get a tote and a punch card to visit all the stores and be put into a drawing for a grand prize. there are freebies or discaounts at each store. It can be fun. One year each store had a different sewing charm for a bracelet to collect. these were free as a part of the shop hop. it was work but my DD and i went to all but 2 shops in one day. some shops are more than 2 hours away. all over central Illiois.
we also went to South Bend IND last fall for a shop hop with my sil and niece. one shop was in the amish community. they are fun if you like to shop a lot!!

The Shop Hop is fun. My only problem is I have trouble stopping once I start. Have to find all those bunnies!!
Have fun searching. Also fun looking at all the fabrics and the good prices. Don't hop with your credit card handy.
