Default A short story about one of the QB members

A short story about a wonderful quilter.

About two weeks ago I received a PM from BuzzinBumble. She hoped it was OK to write to me as we had never met or connected on the QB. She had noticed that I made Quilts for Kids and offered to send me some kid friendly fabrics and she would pay the shipping. Just days later a HUGE/heavy box arrived. Inside were more than 30 fabrics (many yards of most of them.) What a wonderful generous lady.

I have started some new Quilts for Kids using some of BuzzinBumble’s fabrics. There are so many that I think I will be able to make 40 or more quilts. Not only did she reduce her stash, but by adding in some of my own blenders, I am reducing my stash too. That is something I really wanted to do. I will try to post some of the completed quilts in the future. If you know BuzzinBumble please let her know what a wonderful person she is for this donation.

Thank you for acknowledging the generosity of another QB member.

You an BuzzueBumble are both giving back to the community.

How wonderful of her to send you fabrics and of you for making the quilts for kids!
I make a lot of quilts that go to our local NICU. Currently have 8 finished and 4 more in progress to turn in on the 12th of November. I love making quilts to give to others as well. It is always fun to have the bright fun colors and prints for the kids!!! Thank you for sharing!!!

A lot of kids will be comforted and happy by both your efforts. I am making I Spy quilts for our local childrens' hospital and my inspiration was Quilts for Kids.
