Default So close to being finished

I just finished fmq on a lap quilt, ready for binding.....this will be #6 that I've finished since mid-October and I will be so glad to be done with them all! The first two were gifts from me and the last 4 were paying jobs for Christmas. I am getting burned out and ready to work on something for me....for a change! LOL......I do need to start making charity quilts again, luckily the hospital said no more till after the holidays.....who else has their holiday quilting done?

Not me. We're having company tomorrow so I had to spend the day cleaning. I don't think I'm going to make the deadline but I'll keep going as long as we are still home. Heading out of town on Christmas Eve. I'll be back at the frame as soon as the door closes behind our guests tomorrow.

I'm finished, but then I took my machine to the shop for her yearly check up...not good timing, I know....but I needed to take advantage of my neighbor taking hers in as well since we have to take them to Sugar Land for service now...2 hours away. I did have more that I was planning to do, but none that was needed for Christmas presents, since we have very little family left...and none that we gift to.
One thing about my machine being in the shop...week 3 now.... my house is really getting a good cleaning! LOL

Hubs and I will be in a binding frenzy tomorrow and all next week! He is helping me bind some quilts that I need to get finished this weekend! I feel your pain! He lost his job Monday, so it is a homemade Christmas around here!
