Thank you for improving my vocabulary! Being French-Canadian, we have our own way of swearing. First we use all the furniture in the church, but what makes our swearing special is that we can use those words as nouns, adjectives or verbs, the intonation of the voice tells you how mad you are. I do not swear but I really enjoy hearing the way that good swearers can use those words.

At work I used to use "French, French, French." Comes from the expression "Pardon my French"

Fudge, nuts and jellybeans, poodle breath or begonia bellies, when I'm being good! Going to a Christian college I found the last two to work well. The first is what a lovely lady I helped care for said when we were hurting her.

When I'm not being good, the words my exDH (a Marine) used sorta fly out

Since my little 2 little GS moved in with us, I have cleaned up my "potty mouth." My worst expletive now is,
    "holey moley!"

Sometimes I say s**t, but I usually go right to the F word. And when I've really f***ed up, I say it 3 times fast. Sorry ladies. My kids taught it to me. I'm not kidding. BUT if anyone is around I try to remember to say 'Horsefeathers.'

Generally speaking, people avoid my sewing room ~ ~ ~
