    Default sock monkeys

my DD is having her first baby (3/14) and wants to do the room in sock monkeys. I was looking at a site I found - it had sock monkeys! dolls, quilts, anything sock monkeys. I thought I saved it, but I guess I didn't do it right ( imagine THAT! LOL) Does anyone know of a site with sock monkey ideas? Thanks for any help Laurilli

I googled sock monkeys yesterday and came up on a site. Had all kinds of ideas. Googling is way to go. Saved to favorites.

What a cute idea. It made me smile remembering my son's first stuffed character. He was given a Sonic the Hedgehog but a young neighbor friend. I thought it was kind of scary looking but had to place it in the room. I got rid of it when the young friend moved away. DS was way too young to notice it, I thought. Guess what his favorite cartoon and comic book character was when he was growing up......Sonic. I had to purchase the character all over again. Still makes me wonder.

Found this cute sock monkey fabric:

If you Google "sock monkeys" and variations of that ("sock monkey decor", etc.), you will find lots of websites. After you do one of these searches you can click on "images" to see lots of photos. You might recognize that website from one of the photos. Here are a couple of sites I found:
    http://www.houzz.com/sock-monkey

I don't know about sock monkey fabric, but I make sock monkeys and they are easy and make great baby gifts. I use 100% cotton ladies size work socks, so that they are softer than the wool. The sock brand is 'kodiak' I think. Here are a few I have made, and the pattern I used. I also use yarn for the eyes so its safe for smaller kids.

I did a google search "Sock Monkey Nursery Ideas". Do you have an embroidery machine? Designs by JuJu has lots of sock monkey embroidery sets. How do I know this? My 37 year old daughter is a sock monkey lover!https://www.google.com/search?q=sock...ideas&tbm=isch

Vanginney, your sock monkeys are adorable. I could not access the link for the directions. Do you have an updated link? My daughter is expecting and I would like to make one of these.
