I mean, for example, if I am looking at pictures, can I go back to page 100? I want to look at all the pictures in that forum, but I can't do it in one sitting, so I want to be able to go back to the point where I last looked.

If you look at the bottom right hand corner there's a block that says "Go to page: 1234 ... 26>>" and a place to enter the page you want.
Edited to say - this is only within a topic. It wouldn't make sense to look at page 100 of the pictures listing, because it changes all the time depending on what's been posted (those with latest posts are on top).
