    I hope this doesn't sound cheap, but those potholders would be a perfect gift for my 81 year old mom (who has everything already) for Christmas. Last time I was there, the ones she were using were tatty, old and horribly gunked up with stuff that doesn't wash out any more. Thanks for the link or at least the idea! I'm sure I can do this without the pattern.
