I've been using Sullivan's for years and FMQ on my Bernina Artista. Have never had a problem. I've pin basted and hand basted each once and would never do it again after spray basting. I absolutely HATED it. (hand basting.)

Makes me wonder about the inside of the lungs of the user. In my opinion, good ventilation is not going to prevent every little bit from being breathed in.
To each his own, but I vote no spray for me

If you don't have a wall big enough (one that you can use)
I have often asked my local church (they have large tables) if I could possible use them when it's convenient. Push about 4 of them together and you would have a big enough size for a king. Usually I have just stood and pind basted them but now I'm seriously thinking of useing spray basteing, just cover the floor under the table with newspaper or a painters tarp. Will have to give that a try!
So many new things to try!LOL

not sure whether anyone asked this before but...

how does the spraying do on batiks?

I have used spray for all my other cottons and absolutely love using it..but now have batik quilt.....

I was told that it should be fine and was curious about whether any of you ladies have tried it.

    thanks...mj
