If they do not have handles, (mine does) you might see if someone could put a punch hole in them and just hang them on a hook on the wall.

Here is what I use to store mine. It's made out of pet screen.

If anyone is interested, I can post the directions.
    Lilaciris,
I think you have a winner idea. I was on another link and the same question came up. The solution was a belt hanger. It had multiple hooks to hold the boards and rulers.

I put up a peg board that you get at Home Depot to hang tools on and got the hangers that work the best. This way I can hang different sizes on different hooks so I dont have to take all the rulers off to get to the one I want.
I also hang alot of quilting tools on it like rotary cutters and rolls of tape. I had it cut in half but now I wish I had used the whole board.
You can see part of it in picture

I thought she was asking about storing cutting boards? Lots of good ideas for the rulers.

I use c-cup hooks. I have a dog and cat and when they going running by or have just stopped to play they'll swing back and forth but not fall off! :D

I have five of the biggest cutting mats. (When I find a clearance I buy) Some are all scratched and notched but still useful. I have them stacked on top of each other on my cutting table. The other sizes I use for table toppers everywhere there is a flat surface in my sewing room. I keep the largest June Taylor one in the trunk of my car. It makes a nice trunk floor liner.
