I HAVE A SINGLE ROUND METAL HOOP ABOUT
2" DIAMETER (LOOKS LIKE NOTE BOOK BINDER)
RULERS USUALLY HAVE A HOLE AT ONE END
    I CLIP THEM TOGETHER
I USED AN OLD MUG HOLDER AND HANG IT ON THAT
I ALSO HANG MY SCISSORS ON THE MUG HOLDER

I use a mail sorter I found at WalMart for $3. Put it against the back wall where my cutting table is and stack them, the big ones I store on a nail above this. I will be replacing this nail with a Command Hook.

I hang my frequently used rulers on the wall with 3M Command strip hangers. My template rulers I slid into folders and keep them in a magazine organizer box.

I do not have much room to set a ruler holder so I use a hanging pan lid holder that I bought at IKEA for under $5, see attached picture

My sister has all her rulers hung on the wall with nails. They are right there and easily accessible.

I found a 24" plastic covered wire shelve(0ne to expand you closets ) and hung it just over my storage table....the self has a front lip so the rulers don't slip out......it cost 25cents at a tag sale. the storage table is really a veggie table for the kitchen....has 3 wire pull out drawers and an expandable wooden top...works for me

Oh i just might have to steal [please] this idea, as I have mine on one of the slotted holders sitting on my cutting table, its not in the way but the big square rules in the back tend to flop over.

Hey, now I like that second idea!! The file holding rack is what I use now, but mine is smaller
