    Red face Strip Piecing

I was wondering if some of you could guide me towards some good tutorials for techniques for strip piecing. I recently came across a technique for cutting hst from 2 1/2 strips and wonder what else might be out there.

Go to Youtube and search for "strip piecing quilts". You will find tons of video tutorials. Also, check out Eleanor Burns website. She's the queen of strip piecing: https://www.quiltinaday.com/

The Missouri star quilt company YouTube tutorial this week has a neat quilt that is partly strip pieced. Looks easy and very attractive. They also have a number of other strip pieced quilt videos.

Saves time and I think it increases accuracy.

I think one of the basic strip piecing tips is to sew each strip on from opposite ends. By alternating sewing one strip from top to bottom and the next strip bottom to top helps prevent your strip set from bowing---obviously you want it to stay straight. I find pressing each strip as it is sewn on helps too.
