My daughter & I were in JoAnn Fabrics today picking up a few things I needed to finish a quilt & one of those collapsable laundry hamper things for her room at school. The lady at the checkout asked if she were a college student & we said yes. She then gave us a 15% discount! Everything we bought was on sale & I used a coupon for the fabric that wasn't. The discount came off everything execpt the fabric- I was pleasantly surprised! I told her she had to go with me from now on!

I believe it's just this month that they're running the discount. You're supposed to have a student ID with you to take advantage of it. The discount works just like the AQS 10% discount - valid on most items, except for the types and brands listed and on any item you're using a coupon.
