Default Sweet Old Quilt- Has Anyone Seen This Pattern?

This is one of my snuggle quilts. I wish you could see the detail of the hand quilting.
I don't remember where I got it but I love it.
The petals are appliqued onto the stars.

    Here's a closer look.
    Darn, it's small. Sorry.

Are the petals dimensional/folded or simply appliqued?

I think that was one of the Mountain Mist patterns included with their battings, or one of the newspaper column patterns. I'll have to do a bit of looking but I bet we can figure this out.

One of my friends has a really great quilt book that is divided into shapes, I typically have to go page by page through my books and hope to stumble on what I'm looking for.

    They're dimensional.

Beautiful quilt. It does look like the Dahlia Star that Tartan suggested.

It was published in the Kansas City Star in 1932 called “Golden Glow”. The pattern is also in Encyclopedia of Classic Quilt apatterns and in there it is called “ Kansas Sunflower “.i am currently making one using 30’s reproduction fabrics.
