I finished a FMQ a quilt for a benefit for the coming weekend and even though someone else pieced the quilt and another person is going to hand stitch the binding, I used that tutorial I got from this board to glue and iron the binding. What a dream. I didn't need to pin or clip it. I have attached the quilt, (which is so cute)

What a great quilt and thank you for the idea on using the Dora fabric. I have some purchased and was wondering how to use it to make a quilt for DGD.

I used the same method for a quilt and a table runner recently. I loved it! No pins sticking in me and it came out beautiful. Just curious; Did you also starch the binding beforehand? I did and it helped to keep the shape. Thanks.

You did a very nice job. However I do not mind using clips to do my binding. I might just try using the glue and iron method.

    eunice :-)
