Just love it the way it is. If you took is apart to add cornerstones, you run the chance of stretching the fabric

    Beautiful design & quilt top

It is too late. There is absolutely no way that I would take all of this work apart just to add cornerstones. Cornerstones does give some exitement to the eye but with the work you have already put into this quilt, I don't see the need to undo what already looks good.

If you really want them and have to have them in this quilt, you can add cornerstones on the first border and then add your last border. Or you can start a new quilt and add them.

I would leave it like it is and use the cornerstones on another. Maybe when you quilt you could do something in each little square where the cornerstone should have gone.

    Ditto here.

Looks great to me. I would leave it the way it is; as they say "design decisions" Thanks for sharing.

I would just add another border from the dark blue fabric, thay way you can add corner stones to this border.

I think it looks great as it is but if you wanted something extra you could sew either square or round buttons as cornerstones.
