Default Triangle Frenzy Swirl table topper or runner

Have any of you made this? How wide does the boarder print need to be to make a nice runner? Thanks for the help!

I like to use about a 9-12" border print to get some real design. But it basically depends on how large you want your runner--your stripe should be porportional with your runner.

I have this pattern and plan to make a runner for my sister. I found a Jinny Beyer border print in my stash that would look great but I don't know if I have enough. I think I have about a yard.
Sorry I can't answer your question!

A 9 to 12" print will work great, I can get a runner out of 1 yard. Post pics when you get finished.

I have made many of these runners. I've made the original swirl & sev. with the extra four triangles on both ends. I'm very careful to be sure all lines match up. I find the best & largest variety of border prints are sold at equilter.com. They call them stripes though. Just gorgeous. They're a little pricey but well worth it for the beautiful colors.
