    Hi out there! yes, the dryer sheet works well, but I have switched to a product called "thread heaven" about 3.00 but it lasts forever. Watch for Jo-ann's 50% on their notion wall. little square container: cobalt blue

    I think I read about the dryer sheets,but forgot. Thanks for the reminder as I have 3 quilts to sew bindings on. ;-)

    I've heard of beeswax....can't locate any at our LQS, but I have LOADS of dryer sheets! I wasn't aware they served any other purpose than accidentally embellishing the back of one's sweater!

    I always thread the needle before I cut it from the spool. Don't know why, but this always works for me.
