Change of plans, after I finished scrubbing the back vinyl siding, DD arrived to pick up grand doggie so I am free to lay out my blocks. This is the 2nd quilt I have made from the leader/enders, obviously I was a little over zealous stitching so many blocks. Anyway, I will do a 10 x 11 block layout (blocks are 6" and sashings 2" finished) There are a few areas that could be switched around but then they create more colour blocks, so will leave as is....a scrappy quilt!

Well I managed to get some wool applique done this afternoon while watching the Yankees lose (again!). I'll see you again next month

Oops, not much sewing this weekend. I have been trying to buy a house, long distance. It's so time consuming and brain draining, and in the end, although we made a cash offer for 24K above the asking price, someone else offered more! So discouraging. I could see myself living in this sweet little house that would have been perfect for me.

I have gotten scrap fabric cut up into squares and strips, tho. Very mindless while my mind was on other things.

Just got home from my second retreat this month... whew!! But lots of sewing done - and nothing finished LOL. Here are some blocks I made from the Harriet's Journey sew a long on the Challenges thread. And I made 11 blocks for my Dear Jane! Nearly 1/4 done now.

We had some family time this afternoon , but did manage to get started on my binding. This evening my husband and son watch movies on Sunday nights, so I'll have some sewing time to work on baskets!

And Kathy your blocks are beautiful!!!!

Just a quick word from the peanut gallery here
    1) started piecing my strips and crumbs for a new stacked coin quilt and
    2) I had Moderna also. Side effects - sore arm for 24 hours that affected mobility....but no fever, nausea, anything else. Couldn't be more pleasantly surprised.
