    Default Walking foot Craftsy class

I just finished taking a Craftsy class called "Creative Quilting With a Walking Foot". For those of you and me that are intimidated by FMQ it is a very good class. It shows you how to do creative easy quilting with just your walking foot. I learned wavy lines, echo quilting, circles, grids, crosshatch and others. It was a lot of fun. Just thought I'd share.

There's also a pretty good book on this: Foolproof Machine Quilting, by Mary Mashuta. You can get a used copy pretty inexpensively.

I am in the process of watching that class, also. I have a Pfaff which has the IDT so I don't use a separate walking foot. Just taking a few tips from the class is a big help.

I'm another who is currently taking that class. I love the instructor! I've learned a lot already.

I've taken numerous Craftsy classes and I think this one is the best one yet! I have learned so many tips about quilting with a walking foot. I was just looking for other options, as I already can FMQ fairly well. I really enjoyed the teacher and I hope she does more classes in the future!

That is nice to know. I'll have to see if I've already purchased that class.
