I would like a pattern to make a welding cap.

I have a friend with cancer and his head is getting sunburned, but he says all the chemo caps look girlie. So I thought some welding caps might do the trick.

You could even leave the bill off of it and it would be like a fabric beanie!

When my brother was having chemo, we got him ballcaps that had fabric straps with velcro. The plastic straps really bothered his head. He said it was surprising how tender your skin was without any hair to protect it.

Golf hats have a fabric like strap instead of the plastic thing like most baseball hats.

Thanks for the link. Looks like what I need. In my searches, I only found ones to purchase a pattern.

I could just buy him some caps, but I want to use some really wild fabrics for him as he has such a great sense of humor.

    Thanks again.
