Default What on earth have I bought???

I recently cleaned my sewing room and found a stack of 10" tissue paper squares that I apparently bought from MSQ. I can't for the life of me figure out what I was thinking or what these squares are for. Can anyone tell me?
    Thanks!

I would use them to make a string quilt.

The first thought in my head was paper piecing. I think they would tear away very easily.

Instead of paper, my mum sews her strips straight on 10inch batting squares and does quilt as you go projects.
