    Default update on my jellyroll

I managed to get 9 blocks with the jellyroll so it will make a small quilt or I can buy some fabric that is similar and put a big border around it.

I am a beginner, just reading about quilting and taking free online classes right now, I just got a little sewing machine from a yard sale, but what is a jelly roll? sorry, I am just starting this wonderful new hobby. Rachel

A jelly roll is fabric cut into 2 1/2 inch strips you normally get 5 strips of five different but matching strips of fabric that you can sew together, as you can see from my pictures I turned them into a log cabin, all but the centre piece were from the jelly roll.

Isn't that exciting when you have a great day like that. I'll be so glad when I can drive again and go to the thrift shops of Sioux City, Iowa.
