    Default What's your favorite method?

Hello fellow quilters! I was wondering what are some of your favorite methods for hanging quilts or wall hangings ? Are there some that are better for the quilts and the walls? Would like to know your take on this..... Thanks!!!!

I always make a rod pocket for wall quilts. I am living in an apt so I use push pins.

I also like the "Hang It, Dang It" hanger. Nancy's Notions carries them and they are on sale right now. They fit through the sleeve.

Well I have a wooden pole large dowel, and wooden brackets from Lowes...........I fold the quilt over the dowel. But for themed wall hanging I use magnets on the side of my refrigerator and on the inside of my metal front door................the sun doesn't fade them that way..........calla

I like to use clip curtain rings, than just use small nails to hold up the rings

I prefer not to use push pins, as they can leave holes in the quilt. JMHO.

Saw a vendor, at a show, demonstrating magnetic quilt hangers. Magnets are hung on wall with Command Strips. Was interesting to see him hang a quilt around a corner, using a flexible metal rod. Her is a link to them in Connecting Threads http://www.connectingthreads.com/too...r__D82036.html

How do you hang a quilt on point? I think I remember reading something about it here but can't find it. Thanks for your help.

I like them best when they have hanging tabs on the quilt.
