Red face Who is going out on Black Friday?

I am. But I'm only going to 2 places. There are 2 Quilt Shops who will be having BF deals so I'm going to treat myself. I'm sure they won't be too busy. Anyone else have Quilt Shops with special sales? Anyone know if on-line shops do specials?

Last year there were a few onlines that had Black Friday deals. This year I know one of Eleanor Burns sites( quilt in a day) is having a black Friday sale that includes fabric, and is having a "pre- black Friday" sale that started today.

I never go out on Black Friday. I do most of my Christmas shopping online and love having it all come to my door.

My shopping is done before Thanksgiving -- never go shopping on Black Friday. I prefer to pick out my items while I have a choice.

i will be hitting Hancocks Fabric shop in town they are having a awsesome BF sale, starts at 6am yucky time oh it will beso worth it. That is the only place i will be going to. So dont think it will be to bad. Will never go to WalMart on BF ever again went last year and it was so crazy getting pushed prodded by other shoppers the fights and getting hit by the carts, oh and my favorite other shoppers would take things out of my cart as they would pass by. when asked to give it back would actually argue with me that they didnot take it frommy cart. so sad never ever again just not worth it.

I am buying stuff online and in person as I find it. I doubt if I will go out on BF -- last year I went to Joann's to get fleece for some blankets our church is making for some charities. Oh -- I go to Costco to get the recipe book

When my girls were home we went every Black Friday. We had so much fun. I miss those days. Now I do all my Christmas shopping online. I go to the stores during the holidays to see the decorations but not to do specific shopping. I can't think of any one quilting item I want this year. I asked for a pretty umbrella. LOL

I am going to exercise at 10:30am. Does that count? Would never go anywhere near Joanns and I have not heard of any quilt store sales.

You could not lure me out on BF, even if you told me there was a LQS giving fabric away. The best part of Thanksgiving - knowing I don't have to leave the house on Friday.
