I have a queen size Gracie frame with my Janome 6500 on it. Does that make me a longarmer? When I win the lottery, I go Gammil.

I started with a B-line frame and a Juki TL98Q machine. Upgraded the machine to an HQ16 and then in the summer of '09, I purchased a gently used Gammill Classic Plus. I would have gone straight to the Gammill..but my husband had sticker shock!

I bought a Mega Quilter and the Grace fram to go with it and am sorry. I bought too quickly and would rather have the table top kind that came out recently. But if I were a true long armer I'd go Gammil or the Nolting.

I am on my 3rd HQ16.Don't ask. I usually don't quilt for the public, some exceptions. I rent my LAM by the hour to my students and have a few other clients. I don't want it to be my "job". I still want to quilt for fun. I have paid for my LAM in a year from the earnings.

I have a Grace quilting machine frame with a Juki sewing machine. I can quilt a queen size quilt. I do it manually, no computer. I just follow a pattern on a paper and try to follow it with a pointer I made from a wire coat hanger. Works great.

I purchased a Voyager 17 and Hinterberg Stretch frame (no computer) in June of 2007.
Am trying to finish quilting, not piecing, 100 quilts this year for American Hero Quilts. Have returned 57 and have 14 ready to bind then send back.
I do mostly free-hand quilting or a panto once in a while if I cannot figure a pattern that matches the piecing.
    I cannot send a pic.
Love my set-up in our sunroom.

I bought a Voyager 17 in March. I've only quilted 4 quilts for practice as life gets in the way but love it and plan to do it professionally. I do them for free for my group charity projects.
