    Default Yep, another batting question...

I'm wanting to give 'quilt as you go' a try. But stumped on what batting to get. Don't want too thick. Here in north Texas it doesn't get very cold.... Need suggestions!!!!!

The only quilts I make are 'Quilt As You Go" I have always used Warm and Natural or Warm and White by the Warm Company. I love that it makes the quilts feel like an old fashioned quilt. I recently made quilts for family that live in Florida. They love them as well. They have them on their beds year round. Between the air conditioning in the summer and winter's cooler nights they fit right in.

I used Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 for many years but fell in love with Warm and Natural recently.

Use any batting you want. I have used Warm and White, high loft poly and wool. They all work equally fine.
