If you have a ruler the same as your block, center the block underneath the ruler and trim. If the block is smaller than your ruler, you need to go back and check your seams. I have a 12 1/2" ruler which is just fantastic.... :D :D

Wow! Just read through this thread and saw all the new members to the forum who don't have their own thread! Welcome to ALL of you. This is truly a great place to ask questions and brag about what you have completed. I have MANY WIP's and will until I die! I get the top done to try out something new and then go on to something else new! Just found some other pieces that I had forgotten about. I LOVE taking classes and learning new technigues. I am addicted as well.

Welcome Pam. I pretty new to the board, but it doesn't take long to get addicted to the board. I think it's better than a quilt show and not nearly as expensive. I have heard of a few toys from the other ladies that I don't have. I'll fix that as soon as I can find them. Always glad to hear about a new quilter.

This is Sharon, johnsondebera19, and I have learned sew much though reading these threads. Each topic is called a "thread", and each time someone adds something, it is called a "post".

Normally, when someone wants to change a topic, they begin a new thread. That includes a new person introduction, or asking a new question. Adding a new thread is easy to do, you just click on the quilting forum at the very top. You will get a box just like this and it will start a new thread. You can pick your topic category as well, so it will go in the best area, like Introduce Yourself, Chit Chat, or Main, etc.

Everybody should be able to be welcomed to the forum, and a new thread gives us each our own chance for that opportunity. Thanks for asking.

    Hi Pam,
Welcome from rural Maryland. I have been doing this for 40 years and I still love to buy fabric etc.
    Welcome to our club.
