If you look at ugly candle accessories and see great color patterns and how you would put it together.

Someone shows you a picture of their baby and you say "that's a nice quilt" because they are laying on one. You then make your second comment on how cute the baby is. LOL

When you go on a trip to London and Paris and take hundreds of pictures of the stained glass windows because you're going to come home and reproduce them in a quilt!!!

You might be a quilter if any of your numerous cats or dogs is named any of the following: "HST", "FMQ", "LQS", or "OBW" -- or --

    "Baby" (babylock)
    "SingSing" (Singer)
    "Vicky" or "Leif" (Viking)
    "John", "Cadfiel" or "Sissie" (Brother)
    "Harriet" (Free)
    "Nina" or "Berni" (Bernina)
    "Jan" or "Naomi" (Janome)
    "Homie" (New Home)
I was named after a sewing machine... no wonder I love to sew!!! Nina

You see the newest e-trade commercial and they mention a blanket and you correct them out loud, "that's a QUILT!"
(which is draped over the crib.)

.... You stand on an overlook admiring the beauty of a valley thinking that looks just like a quilt.

.... You name your daughter on purpose so her initials spell SEW.

.... You open your photo album and every page is made out of photos arranged in the shapes of quilts.

Almost every beautiful scene/sunset you see - you think how nice that would look as a quilt, OR you ask yourself how you can put that into a quilt? LOL !!!
