    Hands down Martelli! When you're looking for one be sure to look where the markings along the edge are...some of them are too far in and hard to see.

    I have the usual green Olfa 24" X 36". I can't complain. It's held up very well for me, despite my "determined" cuts of fabric! LOL! I think most people start with an Olfa. I'd love to try the Martinelli, and perhaps I'll get that chance at the next quilt show. I know their rotary cutters are awesome.

    Olfa without a doubt. Have had Fiskars brand and it warped even though I took care of it. I don't like the blue and business of some of the others. My Olfa mats are old, seen lots of wear and are still holding up. I like their rotary cutters the best too.

    I agree - I have several and also like the green Olfa better in that size, too.

    Miracle Mat by Elan, sold by United Notions, (Moda) is my favorite. I have Olfa in several sizes but miracle mat is thicker and lasts longer.
