Good morning. I hope everyone in the path of this big storm is safe and warm. We’re just getting rain. Be well, Azaleas!

I've started sorting through my totes of scraps. I've got three quilts, one needs larger pieces (like 4" base) and then the one BH quilt Janice posted that needs 2" strips, then one that is going to use strings (less than 2" wide and at least 4" long). I'm also sorting out for triangles that are 2.5" base and 2" base. Finally I'm cutting 1.5" squares.

I do a lot of remembering when I'm going through scraps - seeing fabric from past projects and swaps.

I do a lot of remembering going through scraps too, Macybaby. That's why our scrappy quilts are so precious... the memories!

It's supposed to rain all day here. Totally yucky outside but a great day for sewing. Soon those boom block pictures will start popping up here, to surprise us. My package is due to arrive Saturday. Last scan this morning was Atlanta. Woo hoo!

I've got one tote sorted through, though I gave up on cutting the smaller pieces to save time. the 2" size is working well, as I have a lot of leftover binding lengths that were cut at 2.25"

My package is not suppose to show up until Monday or Tuesday, so I'll keep cutting along for the weekend.

Woo-Hoo! My goodies are here. 19 baggies, counted and safe. Now, I can start playing!

My pkg is scheduled for Monday.

what we did get was about 12-15” of snow. And then wind. And now single digit temps. I’m guessing that might hold up my Pkg for another day or two. It snowed from Wednesday to early this morning. Now the snow is so white in the sun we are sun blinded if we look out too long. But grateful to see the sun.

I think I might have felt special and send all 20 packages instead of keeping 1 here. LOL At least it is not where it should be. Tracking number shows it should be here Saturday.

Annaquilts, you sent 19 in each package. Look around, those F8s are sneaky, slippery little devils!

Hav4boys, my son is a retired K9 officer, so your blocks just kind of jumped out at me saying "Do me first" I hope this will work for what you have in mind for this quilt.
