Great use of maroon queenbarbie. I wouldn’t have thought to use that and it sets the blocks off beautifully.

    Very cool wallets Kassaundra.

QBJ, I love your use of the burgundy/deep red. Great selection.

I have been working on a test block for a designer, it is fpp but made to look like Hawaiian applique, and a test wallet w/ fabric and tape I plan on making w/ the nephews. I can't show a pic of the test block but here is the wallet. I made it w/ beer fabric so the boys can gift it to their father, and make wallets for themselves.

It has all the traditional pockets, the big money pocket, two "hidden", 3 card holder, and one viewing id clear pocket.

I got the block set, up on the design wall I added the frog fabric so you could see what a great job you ladies did w/ color choices. There is an over sized block I knew that was going to be over sized and I originally said I would use it as a pillow sham, but instead I may use it as a design inspiration for the sashing and include it in the actual quilt. I won't be starting on it too soon though so plenty of time to think and mull.

For the first time in 15 or 20 years we can’t eat outside! It’s raining, a lot. Good thing we are having a small thanksgiving. My Inside table only seats 10. Look at the boom table runner.

    Enjoy Thanksgiving!
