Actually I didn't paper piece this one. I think I'm going to make it again and fpp it next time.

I just got back from 2 glorious days with my kids and grandkids! I am still flying high! When I told my 3 yr old grandson I had to leave this morning he ask why and wanted to know if I would come back tomorrow. I almost cried. It is good to be back however and glad I can get caught up here. so many new blocks have been made and I have one more to add myself. A second block for sewbizgirl. Again my pictures are not t hat good.

As a First Time Boomer, cutting that first piece of fabric was gut wrenching! But I got past it.
I was able to make two blocks today.
The first is for PamelaOry - your fabric with the mystical flying birds made me think of the outdoors. I hope you like this flower for your fabric.

LOL LOL LOL the first thing I thought when I saw the block before I read the words was "bow ties are cool" every

Irishmom, I’m with you. My first boom and I hold my breath every time I cut the boom fabric.
I finished one today for Juliasb. I thought a sailboat might be off the beach. Once I finished it all I could see was one of the windjammers we have off the coast here. Maybe it could be a pirate ship.
