Wow,I am getting spring happy! I have a umbrella pattern I can applique on to my block,I also have some small printed umbrella fabric. April Showers.
I should be able to decide real soon on my fabric choices.

I just bought the cutest orange/pink/yellow/green fabrics. I got it for a different project but when I brought it all home and looked closer…it will be perfect for this!!!! Hummmmm… maybe I have enough for both projects!!!!

I can hardly resist! Love the pattern and it sounds like so much fun. Postage rates are awful... but at least it's one envelope! (it will be bad for the boom swaps!) I'll be checking my stash to see what I've got waiting to be used for this adorable block and get back with you.

I know Chigger, I told myself not to join any new swaps until I get some things done. And here I am thinking about the 2 spring swaps!!!

Deb, does each one HAVE to be identical? Also how did U attach the butterfly? Use Wonder Under & stitch around it ?
I'm thinking of joining! 1 set = 12 blocks, right?
Swaps are soooo hard to resist, as if I didn't have anything else to do!!!!! But I'm thinking of future quilts, the Good Lord permitting.

The blocks should be identical - though Sharon had fabric that has several different birds in it....but it is the same piece of fabric. I will allow that. The 'border' and accent fabric must be identical. The butterfly - I cut it out with the Ellison lettermaker template and just appliqued it. Nothing under it, no stabizer - just slow and steady with a blanket stitch.
