I just signed up for the Oct. DQ swap.

Now here is a little teaser for my partner (omacookie).

This picture is just the accent color borders, it does not show
the actual blocks used.

Also the one border is NOT nearly as purple as the picture shows
it is more to the burgundy/wine darker than the picture.

I received my Sept. Trick swap from klgls today and I also mailed hers today--she should have hers by thursday or so the P. O. said. My little quilt is absolutely exquisite and if she doesn't post a picture of my lil Halloween Twistee (it's not big enough to be a 'twister', haha) I will post a picture tomorrow. My camera isn't giving me good color for some reason -- probably not taking the picture in the right light. Maybe I'll have to go outside to take it. She also sent a beautiful handmade bookmark and a Christmas FQ--guess she figured I'd be needing some of that for December!

Does anyone know what October's theme is yet?

Love the twister quilt, great work.

Bilben should have received my little quilt by now or it shouldn't be too far away from Canada. Can't wait for mine to arrive...need to hurry up the postie again !

Buslady you totally outdid yourself on my dq! its stunning! its beautiful! I can hang it all year long on my dining room wall! I so love it! I will post pics tomorrow for all of you to see but I can only say I wish I had gifted her a much better nicer dq the one she sent me is 100 percent ME. hugs hugs hugs to you my dear Onalee. Do you need to send the Huskies out looking for it It did have a little further to go this time so maybe it will get there in the next few days.... crossing fingers and toes and legs (gonna make sewing hard to do though)
