I plan to make two sets, the first set will be applique and I posted my sample block early in this thread.

My second set, is pieced...with Hole in the Barn Door pattern. Hope you like it!

I just finished my blocks last night. When do you want us to send them to you?

You may send them as soon as you want to. PM me for addy if you don't have it. $4.90 flat rate stamp included, I will take care of the envelope. The Sue's are having a blast taking rides in the ones that have already landed here.

Ladies, I am going to step out on a limb (probably a very thin one) for this swap. There has been some discussion in other swaps as to those not sending in, or not letting the host know that they are late.....Since this swap has been posted for a while, and the deadline for sign up is Aug 20, with blocks due by Sept 3rd, I am going to (probably offend some) state that if your blocks have not landed by Sept 3rd, it would be best if you kept them. I know there is a holiday weekend involved, so PLAN ACCORDINGLY. I have several already here that are anxiously (and patiently) wating to be sent back in the skies to their new landing zone. If you have some thing that comes up, please pm me and I will chat with you. Waiting 1-2-3 weeks past return deadline is not only frustrating for the participants, it can be a nightmare for the host. We all love swaps, and enjoy new friends, let's be courteous to others as well.

Just don't go to high in the tree, and I'll help hold up the branch, (my luck I'll be standing over a gopher hole)

If this started in March seems like more than enough time to complete blocks. Nothing wrong with asking a guest to behave when needed!

Thank You for taking the time to Host this event!!! :)

My thoughts exactly. Everyone has had plenty of notice of when the blocks are due and should be able to mail with that in mind.

I know this is a lot of work and sincerely appreciate all you've had to do and still have to do in hosting this swap. Thanks a bunch.

I got my blocks in the mail for a swap due before this one so now I'm ready to start this one. After seeeing some pics of some other blocks gives me ideas on maybe doing more than one set.
