well I got some additional fabric yesterday....so I'm getting there. I hope to have it all washed & dried tonight. This is going to be a very simple quilt as I'm not very fancy, but I think the colors I chose represent one nice thing VT is known for!

but while I was at Joanne's...I saw some princess & the Frog material that I had to have for my daughter's princess quilt! I had all the princess squares already cut, but I just have to have all the princess's represented, so i'll add a few of the princess & the frog squares...I can't wait to get this quilt done for her!!!

Ninnie: This is the perfect time to challenge yourself to try a new technique. And you will only be comitting to a very small project instead of a full size quilt. So I say go for the applique!

I think I am going to try my idea! :-D It sure looks good in my head anyway  Thanks for the encouragement :-D

Good for you, can't wait to see how it comes out. I was thinking of trying something new with the binding, since you are braving trying out a new technique, so will I.

Help! Help! People are already finished and have sent their doll quilts?! I may be too slow. I thought we had until the end of the month to complete and mail them. Yes?

You guys aren't slow, I'm annoyingly early. I just had the time and the inspiration all at once, and then wanted to get it out. No worries!

    UpNorth- I am working slowly on your surprise :D :D :D :D :D

The top is done. Have to do the back and figure out how to bind and quilt it. A whole lot of firsts with this one- first doll quilt, first machine applique, first quilting......

Hang on- I hope you like it.
