The top is done. Have to do the back and figure out how to bind and quilt it. A whole lot of firsts with this one- first doll quilt, first machine applique, first quilting......

Hang on- I hope you like it.
Ditto to all of the above on yours! I had to tear some out as I made a huge error and someone burned a hole in it. First time applique and free motion quilting! Gotta learn somehow!!

I just went shopping today and found a couple of cool buttons to put on the quilt. A peace sign, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Woo hoo..it's gonna be fun.

You just enjoy those babies while you are there. It's a long way from them to your home, I'm thinking.

Plenty of time quilters! Don't feel rushed! It's only the sixth today! And you have until early February to mail your little treasures. If you stress I will boot you off the swap! LOL! No stressing allowed! So eager to see these themed quilts. Do you all think we should have a theme next month? If so, what theme?

February does have Valentines Day -- so maybe hearts and flowers? It would be neat to have all the seasons/holidays themed so when the year is over we will have a compete "set".

Seasons sounds like a good idea. Or holidays. (But we just missed out on New Year's day) Is there a holiday every month?
