    I just recieved a pm from Thequilterslink. She said that she got the one I sent her, but she wasnt able to post a pic, so... Here it is.


    ps. I just realized that you cant see it, but I quilted around all of the little shells. Also, I quilted waves in the border.

    dettonlisas~that is an adorable Florida quilt..live there for 22 years before moving to Texas...know right where Mt. Dora is...my DS used to have alot of baseball tournaments in that area...I'm so excited to join this swap for February :)

    Welcome! I LOVE where I live. It is so quaint. You should come back and visit. We are having our local Quilt show in March. That would be the PERFECT time to visit! The Villages Quilt Show was TODAY!! I had a BLAST!!

    aha, question,,, is the quilt shop still open in Mt. Dora? love that town, and the quaint littel shops.. always hit the lqs, and the vitorian tea place. jacie

    Ok I suck!!!! I received this littel beauty last weekend in the midst of taking down Christmas decorations and it got lost in the meley. Then I was so tired I didn't remember to look for it. I am sooo sorry Lucinda. I love it and it has so much meaning. She sent with it a very detailed letter explaining all of the symbolism, some wonderful Oregon salt water taffy and a peice of lighthouse fabric. Thank you so much. I am sorry for the delay.
