Check out the August Mug Rug Swap -- At the Zoo. Doesn't it sound like fun? Who doesn't love the zoo??? Will be taking sign-ups till the end of the month. ![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)

I think I got behind in my comments, but all of you made such beautiful items. All are just beautiful works of art. ![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
Karen it is so pretty seeing all of them together like that. I hope in the future to be able to join to make some more, but right now, I have been sicker than usual, and would be afraid to make deadlines except for the post card swap which doesn't take a lot. At my leisure I have been working on a baby quilt for a baby girl due in November for a nurse we know at our regular gp's office. Doing simple squares 4/square blocks with partly bright colors that she likes. Then to finish our lap quilts for me and hubby I started way back on the train rides.
I have got to ask this Karen, because it is bugging me. lol.... On one of the pretty swaps above for July there are a pic of what looks like a decorated lid with a straw through it. What is it for? Is it just a pretty one to use on something or something else? lol.....
