~ i concur, nice package. and that is a really beautiful piece of pink batik.

~ on another note my central air went out last night and it is to be another record day of over 105+ temps. i just spoke with the hvac and they have no idea when they will get here (i'm #17 on their list). so i am taking my furbabies over to their uncle's to wait the day out while i wait on these folks to show up. i am making fresh squeezed lemonade to help me wait the day out.

Thanks for asking Mary. Auntie Gail is just as fine as frogs hair. How about you? I know that these horrible weather condidions are having an affect on you and your animals. I hope and pray that there will be a break real soon.
    Hugs, Auntie Gail

Once, awhile ago, we were having negative posts and people were thinking of quiting or quiting. We are at that point again! The fun is being sucked out of the swap and people are dropping out right and left! NO MORE NEGATIVE POSTS. If you have a problem with someone you need to bring it to my attention or settle it with a privatge message directly to the person involved. Negative Things are NOT to be aired on the thread any longer. This is suppose to be FUN.

Oh what fun it is to receive a package in the mail! Thank you Renee/gzuslivz for an awesome swap squishy. It is so much fun to learn a little about your swap partner. Renee and I have a lot in common and now we know each other a little more.

She sent me a beautiful crochet dish cloth (wish I knew how to do that), a resizing chart, a zippered clear bag, hand sanitizer, a notebook that I really need, 3 beautiful fat quarters, 4 skeins of embroidery floss, the cutest little pin cushion for your finger and a marking pen. I tried the pincushion on and it was so light, I forgot I had it on. I discovered I was still wearing it while folding sheets. LOL I love it all Renee!

Ya hooo - my secret pal sent me a brief note last night - finally received her package - I know Lori, I sent it out late - international packages are sent earlier and with vacation and family matters plus I just was hoping to find something new and fun on the shop hop that I didn't pay attention to the date - Thank you Stacey for your patience; I'm glad you like your package - it was fun putting it together. Guess I better scoot over to the August sign up - Lori I'll send you a note tonight. See you all over in August - have a fabulous weekend.

Yesterday I got a call from the temp agency about my resume.

I have an interview at 9am today, but before I can get hired
will have to go through an EXTENSIVE background check with
both state investigators and FBI, finger prints and all.

Reason for this kind of background investigation? I will be
working in the lottery department handling money. Which
means that more than likely I am going to become bonded.

    I am crossing my fingers!
Oh this is just a minor inconvience, you got it!! I am so incredibly excited for you!!
