Linnie 25 Unless it's a regional thing, I haven't heard of any postal strikes here. Anyway, hope she gets it soon. I want to see it.

Oh, that is so cute.....love it!
How super creative. I even recognize and have one of the fabrics in my stash. The hot pink with the lime green circles in it. The cake almost looks good enough to eat. :-D

Oh, I see that hot pink with the lime green circles is used for the border also. Love it!

It looks like you did curved seams on your layers of cake. Is that hard to do? I haven't tried that yet.

Oh, Anglars, how creative of you!

BTW postal workers in Canada were ordered back to work last week, at least north of us in Washington State

I mailed off my partner's quilt yesterday. Hope it doesn't take too long to go from California to Louisiana.

Just received my DQ from Crafty3790 this morning and it is sweet as can be with flowers and butterflies. Thank you so much Deb. I will post a pic this evening.

Got my quilt today from LittleRoO! I think I posted this on accident in the July 2011 swap! Oops! It's a Mariner star and it's the perfect colors, I'm thinking of doing my sewing room in similar colors so the quilt will have a place of honor on my walls once I get them painted!
