Oh Mary! They are just too cute!

On a related note, I have always stuffed mine with poly fill. I just read on a McCall's pattern that doing so will dull your pins! Huh??? Has anyone else heard this? I don't think I'll stop and my pins don't seem to be dull so whaaaaat???

thanks. i stuff mine with polyfill and rice. nope havent noticed my pins getting dull plus some of the alternative suggested pincushion stuffing would not work for me. hopefully what i use is hypo-allergenic for everyone.

to give them some weight so they can stay put. some folks use sand or nut shells for weight, i use white rice.

here is the pattern in case anyone is interested. i put a piece of flannel in the middle of mine. i was gonna do some decorative stitches on it but my machine tension kept acting up.
