    I'm wondering if they are new to this Swap and don't realize the deadline is the DEADLINE. This city just had a post man that would park his truck at his home for a few hours a day to get his things done at home. You would have thought that he would have been fired. Nope just had to pay some money back. It was almost 80 today but the dewpoint was 70. I had to put the AC on but it looks like it's going to rain and maybe thunderstorms. I do not like the summers here. We have 4 seasons. Winter, Almost summer, Summer, and Almost winter.

    Awe shucks!----I'm staying. I just gave up on her. I can't give up on you guys, you're all too much fun!!!
    I need to confess, what is the DEWPOINT, i don't quite understand that. is it the humidity in the air?
    It;s 80 outside and 78 inside, i have the ceiling fan on. it's nice now. dh wants the air on. he knows my rule is *0 or better. Someone needs to save money so she can spend it on fabric. cut corners where i can, i say. if you're that hot, take off your socks and stand on the tile floor. have a great night all.

    Sorry ladies but my husband was in the hospital, so that does take priority.

    i have mailed both pincushion and needle case via priority mail.

    i apologize if I've offended anyone by being late.

    Scrapper I hope your husband is better. Medical emergencies don't offend us as we are all having them. Have a great day

    I guess we all shouldn't jump to conclusions. I'm sure everyone has a good reason. It could be a family member in the hospital like Scrapper or it could be that person themselves in the hospital. I'm just thankful for this group and QB. It has helped me keep my mind off of my own problems. Since I have no family here in Florida, all of you are my family. {{HUGS}}

    I want to assure everyone that all swappers will receive their promised items. We all need to have a little understanding for other swappers. We have people in this swap who are dealing with health problems and real life emergencies. Everyone who signed up did so with the intention of following through to the best of their abilities. Those who are dealing with difficulties in their lives have all promised to fulfill their obligations and I think we should appreciate that fact and give them the opportunity to do so.

    Please help me keep this swap an upbeat and fun place.

    Scrapper of course your husband takes priority, That's how it is for all of us. I sincerely hope he is doing well.I'm like some of the others who have done swaps and put everything into sending a nice swap and have been let down before. Sometimes we feel like here we go again.We just need to be a little more patient. Everyone have a happy day. Hugs Mary
