Ready for opening....my box is jumping out of the closet it is in waiting to be opened, it has been there for about 4 weeks now....Need a distraction from this freezing cold we are getting the Texas....rain, sleet and possible snow....not getting above freezing for about 3 days they say. I will stay warm best way I can.

We don't we have much longer to wait now!! Our tree is up and so is our nativity and our wreaths. That big lonely box sitting under the tree is begging for some company....my hands to open it up!! But I will be good and wait!

Morning all! I'd say good morning, but it's really not! The ice storm has come to North Texas! All the schools are closed & roads are impassable! Glad I don't have to go anywhere! Guess I'll just hunker down & sew! Temps aren't supposed to be above freezing til next week.

Ho ho ho... just two days to go!
And looks like many of us will be having a White Christmas for Opening Day!
Here's a wish that everyone stays safe and warm. We have a sheet of ice on the ground, sleet is falling now, and we're due to get a nice fluffy six inches of snow on top of that. More snow is due to arrive on Sunday so, if nothing else, I should have a picture postcard view out my window on Opening Day.
And looks like many of us will be having a White Christmas for Opening Day!

Calling in from the southern branch of the North Pole !!!! We have 1 1/2 inches of ice - and it's more than a foot deep around the house where the sleet just bounced off....and as other Texans have weighed in - we won't be above freezing for several days. My Junko friends were lined up on the back wall waiting for breakfast this morning, so had to just toss the see out the back door. Stay warm everyone [ATTACH=CONFIG]450163[/ATTACH]

Tree in my front yard this morning is 29 degree weather....and 2 days ago we were in the high 70's.
The boxing is telling me to open it up. I am suppose to deliver a quilt to my longarm quilt when we are due to open our packages. Weather pending on getting on the roads.
