completed blocks went home today to:
    SewJoyce
    Moosegirl
    Nancy in Louisiana
    purplemem
    ai731

I forgot to post here (I posted it elsewhere) that I received 2 beautiful blocks from Sewjoyce-thank you so much! I love them as always :-) You do beautiful work. She also sent a beautiful bright 9 patch for Izabella! Izzy's face was priceless when she was holding up her block from Joyce.
I also received a phenomenal block from Nancy! Thank you so much I love it! I do not have a fish one yet :-)
And thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart for Izabella's-it is beautiful!! She loved it. You really did not have to do that as the ones you made for her were beautiful and plenty as it was. This touched both of us.
The thoughtfulness and generosity of the friends I have made here brings tears to my eyes!
I will post pictures of my beautiful blocks tomorrow evening as my camera batteries are charging :-)
Thank you again Joyce & Nancy!
    Hugs
    April

I'm sure I am about to ask a question that has already been asked, but I get distracted when I read through over 150 pages of stuff, and can't seem to find the answer... as to the mini block, for the lottery, can it be any purple and green, or was there a ruling as to pastels or brights or something? Also, can we combine them whatever way we'd like in the heart, or was it determined that the hearts would be purple or green specifically? Thanks, ladies, I know I should know this, but I can't find it!

The lottery block can be any shade of purple and green, but only purple and green. You may combine the block however you wish.

No, patterns can be used as long as they "read" purple and green.
