Lucky you, and I'm glad it wasn't that difficult to self-assemble. I read one review of it online and it was a savage description, to say the least. As for your storage of your "to dos", it's great to get things out from underfoot, but I have also realized the "out of sight, out of mind" concept! This year is all about finishing the unfinished, completing the uncomplete, and the exhumation / eviction of same!!!!! A list is not enough, I have to see the bags here and there and everywhere in order to attain the proper motivation to get 'er done!

I have often looked at that table at Harbor Freight and thought it would make a good work table in a craft/sewing room. Now I see it does. Nice work and congratulations on doing at yourself. The castors are a great touch that I would also want on any table in my sewing room You rock!

It's 33" tall, the wheels I added make it 36", which is perfect for me. There are nearly 800 reviews on HF and it has a 4.5 star rating. I didn't have any holes that didn't line up. The drawers were also easy to install, but aren't the smoothest operating. That's not a problem for me as I won't be using them on a daily basis. Thanks to all for the positive comments!

Beautiful job. I've rearranged and rearranged my sewing room over and over again. The only thing I am dissatisfied with is my ironing situation. My husband made a big-board for it and it works great and I love it. BUT, it's so heavy to move around. I can "scoot" it under my long-arm when I don't need the full size to iron on. But, I'd really like to have wheels on it (like YOURS).......so hmmmmmmm. I'll keep thinking. That ironing board was loaded up in the vehicle when I got married and moved away....so it's still got some sentimental value...but as I get older and older, that ironing board gets heavier and heavier! Has anyone put wheels on their ironing board? Anyway, I love your solution........good job!

I love the work bench idea also, but it would not fit in my new (we are moving & down sizing) sewing room. I want one for the garage because I like doing stuff like refinishing furniture, making things, etc. I have a fairly large Koala sewing/quilting cabinet, a large tall bookcase that I keep all my books, little notions like buttons, zippers, needles, scissors. I made a big board so I can remove it it needed. I also made custom shelving to fit in the closet, to hold all my plastic storage containers, only 1 layer per shelf. I used to stack them on top of each other, but all the covers got squished. Plus I have 4 of those cheap plastic 3 drawer units I keep all my serger thread, patterns and a bunch of other junk. I do other sewing besides quilting & alterations. It will be challenging when I finally get it all done.
