    100,000+ glorious blooms • 18 gigantic gardens • 18 super-sized murals at 12 locations • 36 quilt designs • 7 welcoming communities

The Quilt Gardens... along Heritage Trail joins quilting, gardening and art into a one-of-a-kind event. A colorful patchwork of quilt inspired gardens and quilt-themed murals linked by the roads that form the Heritage Trail.

Every quilt garden and quilt mural has its own intricate pattern, many are original designs, and each has its own unique story.

Very cool, I am only about four hours away, and would really like to go, love flowers and quilting!

However, my vacation days are already booked up this year.

Can you go through it in a day with out being too rushed?

I just did this tour the middle of July. Was a little disappointed in some of the quilt gardens - they were planted flat and it was difficult to see the design. Others were planted on a slope and some had a "tower" you could walk up on to see the designs.
    The quilt murals were awesome!
Here is one of my favorite ones.... it was at the Elkhart Botanical Gardens

oops spelled it wrong above the photo - should read ELKHART
