    Show: A Harvest of Quilts Date: Oct. 1 - 2, 2011 10am-5pm
    Description:
    The Belknap Mill Quilters Guild is proud to host its 34th Annual Harvest of Quilts Show on October 1 and 2, 2011, in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

    Our Special Exhibit this year is titled "Alzheimer's Illustrated: From Heartbreak to Hope" and was created by the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative. This show has been touring the United States and we are fortunate to be able to include it at our annual event.

    A lovely lunch with homemade food specialties is available. Quilt appraisals will be done on the premises. Appointments are recommended. Contact the Guild at [email protected].

    In addition to many quilts on display, the guild will have demonstrations, a vendors' mall, a guild table with handcrafted gift items, a penny sale, a raffle quilt and door prizes. Hope to see you!

    Cocheco Quilters Quide 30TH Annual Quilt Show

    Event: 30 Years: Seams Like Yesterday Quilt Show Date:
    Oct. 15 - 16, 2011- 10am-4pm
    Description:
    Over 175 quilts on display, with a raffle quilt, "Passing Fancy," a Merchant's Mall, Sewing Machine Raffle, Guild Boutique, Penny Sale, and more.
    Admission:
    Admission $6/day or $9 for both days. Children 12 and under are free.

    thanks. I marked my calendar. May be we can wear a sign that we are quilting board members. IT would be nice to meet up for a litte chat....exchange emails etc

    I definitely agree that it would be fun to meet up and take in the shows together, perhaps as a group. Hopefully there will be others attending as I know that there are several NH Board Members! I love the idea of a meet! Thanks!

    If you can make it, do take in the Belknap show to see the Alzheimer's Illustrated: From Heartbreak to Hope. This was at the quilt show in Augusta Maine a few years ago and several of us were in tears just looking at the meaningful quilts, just beautiful.

    Thank you Roberta, yes I just learned of this show yesterday while visiting a small local quilt shop here in Laconia! Looks like October is going to be a great month for quilt shows.....can't wait!! :lol: :lol:
