Your husband helped choose the fabrics, and he loves it, so mission accomplished. I think it is beautiful. Only you ( and the rest of the QB ) know of any mistakes. I would not have noticed any mistakes, if you hadn't pointed them out. If anyone else should happen to comment, you can always claim 'artistic license' or designer's choice.

No, you didn't earn the ugly quilt award! Your quilt is nice - the straight borders and binding show how well you made it, too.

I think you're being WAY too hard on yourself. I love the quilt and think you did a super job.

This quilt is amazing. You have a talent and persistence in quilting and do an amazing job for only 1 year of experience. We all learn from mistakes, classes, meeting w/ other quilters and trying new things. Great job!

It's not ugly at all! It's striking! I love it! You may have lost perspective, doing it in a hurry and in fabric you didn't much like. Luckily, your DH sees it clearly and loves it, too! Good job....and don't be so hard on yourself.

Only you know the flaws. When a quilt is done a lot of the mistakes disappear. Good job.
