Default 2 entries 2 blue ribbons! proud as punch! west tx fair

I entered two of my quilts into the West Texas Fair (Abilene, TX) - we drove over today to take a look and both won blue ribbons! Proud as can be of these! Lots of pretty quilts - the display was a little different and difficult to get pics of most of them. A lot I didn't get pics of.

These are some of the other quilts in the same display case, also 1st place ribbons:

Boots, Appliqued:

Dahlia (I think. Do you know the name of this pattern? It's beautiful!)

And I don't know which stars pattern but this was an awesome quilt:

This next quilt is so pretty up close - each little strip was maybe 1/2" finished - used a collection of 'Texas' fabrics on this - I don't know the name of this pattern either but would love it if anyone could chime in!

Thanks for looking!

Congratulations on your two blue ribbons! Your quilts are awesome. I remember your original posts but I went back and looked at them again. They surely deserved their ribbons!! Great job!

Congratulations on your well deserved ribbons! It might have been hard to take pictures but I like the nice clean, secured display. Good job Fair homecraft directors!

Great job and well desired ribbons. If I am not mistaken, the last is the Lone Star pattern or a form of it in Texas colors and fabric.
